Arthritis Recovery  Stories

Case History One – Arthritis Recovery Stories

Javier - arthritis recovery storiesHello, I’m Javier. The story I have to tell you may seem incredible but I assure you that everything you’re about to read did happen to me. I know your time is at a premium so I’ll make this brief and to the point.

In 1993 I had an accident that changed my life forever. A young driver with a blood alcohol level three times the legal driving limit rear-ended me. It was 9:00 at night and I had stopped at a red light.

The driver slammed his 1977 Monte Carlo into the back of my Toyota pickup at over 90 miles per hour. The force of the impact was so great it lifted the truck and sent it airborne and tumbling down the road.

When the police arrived they found me ejected from the truck and laying unconscious on the ground. The police and emergency medical technicians from the local hospital had a difficult time keeping me here in this world. Thoughts of my son Xavier and other loved ones helped me maintain my grip on my body.

The physicians who took me under care at Scripps Hospital in San Diego told me I’d cracked my fourth and fifth vertebrae. My sixth and seventh vertebrae were completely shattered and blown out of position. A large section of the broken seventh vertebrae was pressing against my nerve root and spinal chord.

One of the surgeons expressed his disbelief that the sharp bone fragment had not severed the nerve root completely. It had only damaged the fatty protective coating on the nerve known as the myelin sheath.  This was the nerve root that controlled all movement on the entire right side of my body. If it had been severed I wouldn’t be standing here today in front of you under my own power.

The next amazing discovery by my chief surgeon was that when he removed the bone fragment pressing against the nerve root the nerve immediately reconstituted to 40% or normal capacity. There was serious trauma to the myelin sheath but no detectable permanent damage.

My physicians were all completely dumfounded as to why I wasn’t paralyzed on my entire right side – if not a total quadriplegic.

I experienced some loss of sensation in my right arm and leg during the month I was hospitalized at Scripps. Immediately after being discharged I saw an acupuncturist. To his amazement the acupuncturist was able to completely restore full use of my right arm and leg with a single treatment.

I told him that the secret to the strength and resilience of my nervous system lie in one of Dr. Jensen’s super healthy blended drinks that Paul put me on in the early 80’s when I went to see him as a patient. My energy reserves were low at the time and my entire body was biologically unbalanced.

Paul suggested a mineral-packed health drink that would rebuild my nervous system and restore strength, vigor and balance to my entire body. The drink helped rebuild all of my bodily systems. I had been taking the drink daily right up until the day of my life-altering accident.

My traditional doctor’s prognosis of my short and long term health picture was grim. He predicted I’d suffer the vicious pains from the crippling effects of rheumatoid arthritis soon after being discharged from Scripps. He also pronounced that I could never again expect to engage in any physical activities involving jolts and shocks to the skeletal system such as running, jumping, jogging or even fast walking.

I can happily report to you that since leaving my hospital bed I’ve been snowboarding and hiking with my son and working long hours restoring vintage cars – which involves heavy lifting at times and being in awkward positions often. I continue to take my morning shake, to which I’ve added frozen strawberries and blue green algae

With the exception of a few metal plates and screws inserted in my neck for structural support I am completely healed and recovered. I don’t have any physical limitations what so ever and not a trace of the severe symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis expected by the Scripps physician – to the utter amazement of my attending physicians.

The incredible super healthy drink I’d been taking for almost a decade prior to my accident saved my nervous system and my life. I beat the odds by relying on nature to set my body up for what was a remarkable recovery and what I feel will be a long and physically active life.

My body had been building up all of its systems quietly and deliberately and secretly fortifying itself against any unforeseen shocks and traumatic experiences such as my accident posed.

Although my circumstances could be considered unusual there is no reason to believe a healthy morning shake – with ingredients properly suited for your physical constitution –  couldn’t do wonders for your health as well.

Case Histories Two And Three – Arthritis Recovery Stories

The following case histories are typical of the results arthritis sufferers with similar complications can expect when the proper corrective measures are adopted.

Although it is impossible to determine what results can be expected for any arthritic – particularly where joints are locked or fused, such as with ankylosing spondylitis arthritis – certainly a change in lifestyle and other corrective measures can bring about a partial if not total recovery.

Female – Mid Eighties

Client complained of extreme pain in left knee when bending, walking or climbing stairs. This began approximately one year previous to my first consultation with her. At that time she began using a walking cane for the first time in her life to assist with mobility.

Three months prior to my consultation, client underwent orthoscopic knee surgery in Texas to remove what were determined by her orthopedic surgeon to be calcium deposits in the knee joints.

Although her physician deemed the operation a success, soon after the operation client began experiencing excruciating pain from incisions after surgery and from the original complaint. Client was subsequently compelled to take pain medication at multiple intervals daily in order to lessen the pain.

During the initial consultation with client I discovered her diet was high in acid forming foods, with few healthy alkaline foods being consumed daily. It represented an ideal environment for the development of the system wide acidic condition which often indicates a lack of organic sodium.

I explained to her that this is how arthritis and other rheumatic diseases usually get started. We discussed the need to correct her arthritic condition through reversal of the steps she took in building the disease. I explained that such an effort should include:

  • An initial period of fasting utilizing juice, broth, water and herbal teas
  • Cleansing of all channels of bodily waste elimination
  • Restoring biochemical balance through proper nutrition
  • Replacing old worn out tissue with new tissue
  • Daily movement of limbs to help stimulate blood and lymph circulation
  • Making appropriate changes to her lifestyle

Client was enthusiastic about the possibility of recovery by natural means. She felt that proper nutrition should be at the center of any successful effort to reverse a disease condition. Client decided to initially forego the fast, colon cleanse and skin brushing regimens. She began a 4-week elimination diet consisting of wholesome cleansing and rebuilding foods and healthy nutritious beverages.

Within two weeks of starting the program client called to inform me she no longer needed her cane. Her level of pain and discomfort had been dramatically reduced. Clent further related she was no longer taking any pain medication.

Female – Early Nineties

Client complained that since her 90th birthday she felt weak, enervated and disoriented. She began losing her balance on occasion and felt the need to utilize a walking cane to ensure stability while walking or standing. During this period of time she noticed stiffness in her joints, occasioned by dull pain. She was also incontinent and complained of periodic pain in the region of her liver.

During consultation I discovered client had not consumed any raw vegetables since age 50. When questioned about this she explained that her physician at the time advised her to consume only cooked foods. The nutritional quantity and quality of her daily diet was poor.

My examination/evaluation revealed a state of rheumatoid arthritis which had been developing for quite some years. Her systemic levels of inorganic mineral salts and toxic debris were high. Her organic sodium and potassium reserves were virtually depleted.

I immediately put patient on a short diet of whole foods (including raw vegetables), nutritious beverages and concentrated natural food substances. Within 3 weeks patient began feeling better and experienced definite improvement with the way her body was functioning as a whole.

A few weeks following my initial consultation with client she underwent a 3-day fast. Within a week after breaking the fast she reported that she had lost unwanted weight, had very little pain remaining in her joints, waste elimination was better and she could walk about her house without pain and without the use of a cane. Client was excited and encouraged by her marked improvement.

Hopefully the foregoing arthritis recovery stories will encourage you to allow nature the opportunity to restore your health, wellbeing and control of your life.
